Details: Ohio college freshman Wendy Throop was the victim of a date rape in December of 1995 while at a party at a friend's house. Wendy tried to move on with her life, but was very depressed and on November 12, 1996, she tragically commited suicide, when she was just 19 years old. Her mother Sharon became very depressed after he daughter died, but then shortly thereafter, Wendy began appearing to her in visions, trying to comfort her. Later that year at a neighbor's Christmas party, Wendy's father Bill was told by their neighbor that they had seen Wendy a few weeks earlier. Sharon, after hearing this, became emotional and left and went home. That night, Sharon saw Wendy in their home, and Wendy told her that everything will be fine after her death. Sharon claims that Wendy has communicated with her several times since she died, and that she knows that Wendy is okay. Sharon believes that her communication with her daughter helped her overcome her death.
