Details: Tara Breckinridge worked as a waitress at a strip club in Houston, Texas. One night in August 1992 after leaving work, she suddenly vanished; her car later found abandoned by the side of the road, locked with a can of mace inside. Her parents believe she met with foul play, and that somehow, her boyfriend, Wayne Hecker, could be behind it. Her job decreased the amount of time he could be with her, and the night she vanished, he was only fifteen minutes away at a pool hall.
Suspects: Wayne Hecker rates high as a suspect, but the police are also suspicious of a male admirer who left her $100 tips as well as a love note telling her, "Not to be scared. Do what your heart tells you." This person remains unidentified.
