Details: Thirty-seven-year-old Bobby Dennie was put on the FBI's 10 most wanted list for several charges: Murder, attempted murder, theft, forgery, robbery, rape, escape, and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. After he was arrested in 1988, he boasted that he had committed multiple rapes. He also implicated himself in the murder of a woman in Las Vegas. In November, while awaiting trial for rape in St. Louis, he escaped from a Jackson County detention center in Kansas City, Missouri. He cut through the wire mesh on his prison window and lowered himself to freedom with tied bed sheets.
Dennie is wanted by Kentucky authorities for another rape. He is also wanted by Nevada authorities for the Las Vegas murder. Investigators suspect that he travels around the country by hitchhiking with truck drivers. In the past, he has been known to frequent horse races and skid row bars. He has also been known to associate with prostitutes. He was last seen in September of 1989 after he raped and attempted to murder a woman.

Results: Captured. Dennie was captured in Lake Wales, Florida on October 28, 1989 with the help of Unsolved Mysteries viewer tips. A viewer recognized him as Daniel DeAngelo, who lived with his wife in a motel. Shockingly, "DeAngelo" was also wanted for a rape in Miami. In that case, he actually left his wallet at the scene of the crime. They arrested him at the motel after they followed his wife there.
Dennie was returned to Missouri where he was convicted of robbery and kidnapping. He was sentenced to forty years in prison.
