Case[]

Details: Twenty five year old Patricia Schneider worked as a cocktail waitress at Palomino Station in Indiana Hills, California. Early on the morning of July 31, 1982, she completed her shift at work. At 3:45AM, she made a call from a Circle K in Pedley and said that her car had broken down. She was never seen or heard from again.
Between 5AM and 6AM that morning, a sheriff's deputy found her Toyota Celica on fire in a field near the intersection of Van Buren Boulevard and Doolittle Avenue. The fire had been deliberately set. Patricia has never been found.
There is some speculation that Patricia's disappearance is related to the 1980 abduction and murder of Dorothy Jane Scott. In both cases, their cars were deliberately set on fire.
Suspects: None known; the Circle K clerk noticed two sandy haired Caucasian males in the parking lot around the time Patricia vanished.
Extra Notes: The case was never featured on Unsolved Mysteries. However, it has connections to the disappearance of Dorothy Jane Scott.
