Details: At around midnight on August 11, 1992, at a McDonald's restaurant outisde of Richmond, Virginia, assistant manager Mark Clavin and truck driver Perry Duncan were unloading supplies while four employees were in the basement storeroom. Then, two men in ski masks entered the loading zone, planning to rob the restaurant. However, when an employee from the basement asks Mark a question from below, he is shot in the head by one of the men, and slides down the shaft where the packages are unloaded. The two men ran away after a worker sounded an alarm. Amazingly, Mark survived the incident, but has been seriously hampered by the attack. Police soon learned that two men matching their description tried to steal a car from a woman a few miles away. The next morning, police found the robbers' ski masks and gloves near the yard of the woman who was almost carjacked, along with a gun that was traced to Michael Anthony Starr. Starr, who was out on parole after murdering a nineteen year old in 1985, has not been seen since the robbery an shooting, and police believe he may have fled to New York. Police also need to locate Starr's accomplice, who has never been identified. They believe that he may have met Starr in prison. Neither Starr nor his accomplice have been arrested.

Results: Captured. A viewer's tip led police to Starr, who was found hiding in a kitchen cabinet in a Richmond home, where he was arrested. In October of 1993, he was convicted of attempted robbery and two firearms charges and was sentenced to forty-five years in prison, but he has since been released. Alfred Robinson was identifed as his accomplice but was not given any prison time in exchange for his testimony in Starr's trial.
