Details: Seven-year-old Joey Moss was abducted by his father, Jerry, from his mother, Kathy Alter. They had met back in the early 80s, but after Joey was born, he did not want to get married, so she left him and later married Mike Alter. They moved to Orlando, Florida, and Jerry moved there soon afterwards. On November 20, 1990, he picked Joey up at school for a weekend visit and they vanished.
Extra Notes: This case first aired on the December 4, 1991 episode.
Results: Solved. Jerry and Joey were found one month before the story aired thanks to an informant for the FBI. Joey was soon reunited with Kathy, Mike, and half-sister Elizabeth.
