Real Name: Jessica Constant
Case: Child Prodigies
Location: Washington, D.C.
Details: Fourteen year old Jessica Constant may seem like a typical teenager, but she's actually a college student and plans to attend medical school. But her interests are not only in academics; she also is an accomplished cellist and musical prodigy who plays with her two older brothers in the "Constant Trio" who have performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Amazingly, neither of their parents ever had any sort of musical talent and have no idea how their children have such talent. To this day, nobody knows whether child progidies are caused by genetics, evolution, culture, history, or a combination of those things, and it remains a mystery, although child development professor David Henry Feldman believes that prodigies are a result of timing and talent and the right circumstances.
Extra Notes: The case was featured as a part of the June 26, 2002 episode, along with child prodigy Albert Wong.
