Details: Dennis Maher's red hooded sweat shirt got him in a lot of trouble when he wore it. Wearing it, he was accused in the rape of a woman who identified her attacker by a similar red sweat shirt. Although no evidence connected him to the crime, Maher was sent to prison to serve a life sentence.

Results: Solved. Advancements in DNA since this case resulted in Maher getting released from prison in February 2008; the real assailant has not been caught.
