Details: Forty-three-year-old George Desmond Graham is wanted for the rape of his twelve-year-old stepdaughter. He was a licensed chiropractor and ran a clinic in Philadelphia, Mississippi. In July 1992, he withdrew money from the joint bank account he shared with his then-wife, Glenda, and fled the area. He was last seen in Washington State.
Extra Notes:

  • This case first aired as a part of a rapist roll call on the January 12, 1994 episode, following a segment about Danny Piñeda. Also featured were Joseph Gardner and Ronald Oglesby.
  • It was submitted to the show by Glenda.
  • It was excluded from the FilmRise release of the Robert Stack episodes.

Results: Captured - Shortly after the broadcast, several viewers called the telecenter and the police, saying they recognized Graham as a man living in Whitefish, Montana, under the name “Doc Caldwell.” He had arrived in the area in the summer of 1992 and was working at a hardware store. His girlfriend told authorities that he left their motel in Kalispell, Montana, with someone in a pickup truck on January 14, 1994, two days after the broadcast.
After checking the information on a job application filled out by “Caldwell,” Mississippi police became certain that he and Graham were the same person. However, they were unable to locate him at that time.
Graham was later arrested in Lincoln County, Montana. In March 1996, he pleaded guilty to “fondling an individual under the age of fourteen” and was sentenced to six years in prison followed by five years of probation. He has since been released and is currently registered as a sex offender in Mississippi.
