Case

Details: Dr. Arvind Sinha is wanted for six counts of rape to his female patients. One of them, a nineteen-year-old woman named "Patricia", claimed that on January 7, 1992, she had came to a San Diego doctor's office, complaining of flu-like symptoms. She said that Dr. Sinha came into the room and started asking strange, somewhat sexual questions that seemed unrelated to her illness. After the nurse left, he closed the door and raped her. Patricia left the office in tears. She was afraid to let anyone there know what happened. She called her mother who contacted the police. She was taken to another hospital where she was examined and evidence of sexual assault was found.
Police later found out that since January of 1989, five other young women had told police that Sinha had sexually assaulted them; however, the California State Medical Board had chosen not to revoke his medical license, because it was the patient's word against the doctor's. However, after Patricia's rape, he was soon arrested by detective Christine Gregg. She noticed that he no emotion or reaction to the charges. The next day, Sinha posted bail and soon disappeared. His medical license was later revoked.
Police believe that he is still in the United States, possibly working as a doctor. He is 5'6", 130 pounds, with dark eyes and black hair, and would today be fifty-three years old.

Results: Wanted. Unsolved Mysteries has stated that they no longer have contact information regarding the law enforcement agency that is handling Sinha's case. However, he is still at large.
