Catherine webb

Real Name: Catherine Sheahan Webb
Case: Psychic Dreams
Location: Unrevealed
Date: January 1965

CaseEdit

Details: In 1942, twenty-year-old Catherine Webb fell in love with a soldier named Joe Stewart. Both wanted to marry, but due to hardships in their families, the two decided that the timing was not right. They remained friends for several years. In January 1965, at the age of forty-seven, she married her next door neighbor.
The next year, she began having a strange, recurring dream. She saw several nurses and doctors working on a patient. However, she could not see exactly what they were doing. She did get the feeling that the dream was about Joe. She had the same dream for several months.
Then, one night, she had a dream that she was in the kitchen when Joe arrived. He told her that he had died. The two walked to a church which had a casket at the altar. He claimed that the body in the casket was his, but she did not think it looked like him. He also claimed that, thanks to her prayers, he would have a Christian burial. Finally, he said that he would always love her.
A few days after the dream, she contacted Joe's sister and brother-in-law. They confirmed that he had passed away. Interestingly, he had gone into a coma on the same day that she had her first dream about doctors and nurses. She learned that the details of her dream were almost identical to his funeral. An Atlanta psychologist named David Riebak, along with his wife, have studied her case, along with several other psychic dream cases.
Extra Notes: This case first aired on the October 21, 1992 episode about psychic dreams, along with Glen Loney and Rhonda and Roxanne Anderson.
Results: Unsolved. Sadly, Catherine passed away in 2008.
