Details: Carlina White was abducted from her parents shortly after she was born after her mother took her to a local hospital in August of 1987. Two years later, police stated that they believe her disappearance is related to the presumed abductions of three other children in the local area.
Suspects: An unidentified African-American woman dressed as a nurse is believed to have abducted Carlina.

Results: Solved. In 2011, a woman named Nedjra Nance was positively identified through DNA testing as Carlina White. She was soon reunited with her family, who never gave up hope that she would be found alive. Nedjra had become suspicious of her "family" and recognized a photo on a missing persons website. The suspected kidnapper is Ann Pettway, the woman who raised the girl. There was no known connection to the abduction of the other missing children as yet.
