Real Names: Candace and Sharina Berry
Case: Lost Daughters
Location: Amarillo, Texas
Date: May 1994
Case
Details: Candace and Sharina Berry lived with their father Bill in Amarillo, Texas as per a result of a court ordered custody arrangement. Their mother, Gay Berry, picked them up in May 1994 for what was supposed to be a six-week visit. However, she never returned with them and they have not been seen since.
Extra Notes: This case first aired on the November 1, 1996 episode.
Results: Solved. On the night of the broadcast, several people in Westminster, Colorado, called the telecenter after recognizing Gay as one of their neighbors; some of them had even watched over Candace and Sharina before. The authorities soon learned that she was at a party at the time, and when she returned, she was arrested and charged with interference of child custody. Candace and Sharina were soon reunited with Bill.
